This page explains how the RIFT website works, how to contact us, and the sources behind its visual and editorial material. For enquiries about the site or an assessment, email [email protected]. Our website is rift-sec.com.

Your scope brief stays with you

The scope builder creates a planning document inside your browser. Its fields are not submitted to a server, and the tool does not scan systems, initiate testing or book an engagement. You can download the result as a text file or copy it to your clipboard. Keep a copy before closing or navigating away from the tab if you need it later. Use general descriptions; do not enter passwords, tokens, customer records or sensitive infrastructure details.

To discuss your brief, use the contact email. Opening an email link launches your own mail application; you decide what to send. An email enquiry is separate from the local planning tool. Share only the information needed for the initial conversation and agree a suitable exchange method before sending sensitive material.

Browser preferences and site delivery

The website does not include advertising trackers or an analytics script. Browser preferences support optional visual effects, and your device’s reduced-motion settings are respected. Hero films are silent; sound is optional and starts only when you choose the welcome. You can pause the films or select a scene. These controls do not require an account.

Hosting and network services process ordinary request information to deliver the site, such as the requested address and technical connection information. This is distinct from the scope builder’s local text fields. Questions about site privacy can be sent to the contact address above. We do not ask visitors to provide private customer records through this website.

Illustrative examples and independent references

Worked examples explain assessment planning, evidence and decision-making. They are illustrations, not accounts of named client engagements. References to MITRE ATT&CK, the OWASP Web Security Testing Guide and NIST SP 800-115 provide independent background reading. They do not imply endorsement, affiliation or certification. Reading a page or preparing a scope brief does not grant permission to test an environment; real security work requires the relevant authority and agreed boundaries.

Artwork, film and audio

The security scenes and editorial imagery are generated illustrations. They are not documentary photographs of clients, facilities or staff. FLUX.2 Klein was used for original visual material; the four hero films were generated with MiniMax H3. Powered by MiniMax H3. The optional welcome uses a synthetic Kokoro voice and original audio processing. It does not imitate a named person. Images and films support the subject of each section while the written content explains the scope and limits of the approach.

Typography and identity

The RIFT identity combines an original fractured-frame symbol with a separately typeset wordmark. Space Grotesk provides display typography and DM Sans supports long-form reading and interface text. Fonts are hosted with the site under the SIL Open Font License. Read the Space Grotesk licence and DM Sans licence. System monospace fonts are used for selected labels. The site does not use third-party client logos or claim their endorsement.

Accessibility and contact

The navigation supports keyboard use, imagery includes descriptive alternatives, and interactive controls provide visible states. Reduced-motion preferences limit movement; core content remains available without animation. If a page or interaction prevents you from accessing information, tell us the page address and what went wrong at [email protected]. You can also use that address for a direct conversation instead of the scope builder.
